We have two clear objectives: putting the needs and interests of the children first and working with the whole school community to develop learning skills.

The working atmosphere at Rowanfield is warm and kind, but the challenges are there at every level and in every activity for each child to aim high. We encourage every child to have self belief and to have a vision of achievement for himself or herself and we are here to facilitate the steps along the way to individual success. Above all we want our pupils to enjoy school life and to be proud and confident about themselves and their place within our community.

An essential aspect of our success is a good working relationship with our parents and carers so that we can help each other further the children’s interests.  The partnership between school and home is an essential support for the child.

I am always delighted to show visitors around our school and to talk to them about what we believe in. Please feel welcome to visit to judge the quality of education on offer for yourselves.

We work closely with our partner Junior School and the opening of Rowanfield Children’s Centre has enabled us to offer seamless education for children 0-7 years of age in addition to a complete range of on site services for parents/carers throughout the community.
